April 3, 2025. Parques Reunidos takes a significant step forward in its commitment to accessibility and inclusion by joining the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Network, becoming the first company in Spain to be part of this initiative. This alliance reinforces the group's dedication to ensuring an inclusive experience for all visitors by providing a more welcoming and understanding environment for individuals with non-visible disabilities.
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Network is an internationally recognized program that enables individuals with disabilities to wear the sunflower symbol, signaling to park employees their need for support or understanding while navigating various facilities and attractions. Through this initiative, Parques Reunidos will implement the program in eleven of its parks in Spain: Faunia, Zoo Aquarium Madrid, Atlantis Aquarium Madrid, Aquopolis Villanueva, Aquopolis Cartaya, Aquopolis Costa Dorada, Aquopolis Cullera, Aquopolis Torrevieja, Selwo Aventura, Selwo Marina, and Teleférico Benalmádena. This expansion follows the successful adoption of the program in other European parks within the group, including BonBon-Land, Bø Sommerland, and Tropical Islands.
